THE SANCTUARY ANGELS sent a £300 to Saving Strays UK, whose aim is to "advance animal welfare for the benefit of the public and to relieve the suffering of animals in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide and maintain a rescue and rehoming service for the reception, care and treatment of stray dogs in the UK, Bosnia-Herzegovina and such other European Countries." This is what they had to say about their Angel grant:
"That's amazing, we are truly so grateful. We have 40 dogs in Bosnia waiting to come to the UK, we are just in Bosnia at present and have taken 4 more from kill shelter."
