THE SANCTUARY ANGELS sent a £300 Angel grant to Save a Stray, a grass-roots, volunteer-run small cat charity in Sheffield, last week. We will let them tell you about Kenny (above) in their own words: "Poor poor Kenny, we're so sorry. This should never have happened to you. Ferals, semi-ferals and even nervous strays suffer immensely because people can't get close enough to treat them. That's why we have to tackle this problem from the root. With Neutering!! Cats who have no-one to care for them suffer. Fact. So let's reduce the number of unwanted cats and we'll eliminate the suffering. Kenny is now convalescing with Jo at SAS HQ after his extensive treatment. Today Kenny received a full MOT and began his journey to a more comfortable life. He was: Neutered / Dematted / Had 4 teeth removed / Flea and worm treated / Fiv/ felv tested Full blood screening / Microchipped. Kenny is obviously very sore and quite upset, but he's going to be OK. Thanks to... [among others]... The Sanctuary Angels for helping to save Kenny!"
