In late July 2024 The Sanctuary Angels sent a £500 Angel Grant to Lowhills Animal Sanctuary in Rugby, run by Sophie, who had this to say: "An update on our little one-eyed warrior (pictured). She did really well in her operation yesterday and the eye removal was a success. She's on strong eye drops for her other eye as we want to do everything we can to save it that so she doesn't lose both of them. Thank you so so much to everyone that donated towards her surgery; you all made this happen and I thank you with all my heart.
