At the start of March 2023 THE SANCTUARY ANGELS sent a £300 Angel grant to Filey Cat Rescue / www.fileycatrescue.org, a small cat charity that was set up in 2020 (during lockdown), which helps cats in need across North and East Yorkshire. The Filey team are involved in rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming and also educating the public about proper feline care. In 2022 Filey Cat Rescue was registered with the Charity Commission.
Vicki, Head of Fundraising, had this to say about their Angel grant: "We’ve had a very expensive month at the vets, costing £3,693. We will be putting that money towards paying the bill, which will be a tremendous help."
