THE SANCTUARY ANGELS sent a £300 Angel grant to an incredible man who, when he's not teaching and being a youth ambassador, helps stray cats and kittens in Indonesia. We have supported Uli for a long time; he and his family run the Community for Nature and Animal Care (KOPAS) in Bogor, Indonesia, a non-profit established in 2015.
This is what Uli had to say to us: "Dear Amanda, thank you so much. I have the money. I have bought dry food, canned food, medicine, vitamins for the stray cats we will be feeding. My family and I will go outside to public spaces where stray cats live tomorrow and days to come. Today I have to go to school. I also plan to use the money to settle an indoor door in the shelter. It will be so useful when I enter the shelter, especially when it rains. I will show you how it would look like. The rest of the money will be used for the kitties at the shelter."
You can find out more about Uli's work on his Facebook page: KOPAS / Community for Nature and Animal Care.
