On 1 November 2024, The Sanctuary Angels sent a £500 Angel Grant to Cherrie McCarron, who runs Arty's Angels, a small farm-animal rescue in the UK. We sent Cherrie a grant in the past to help with a big sheep rescue that she was coordinating. Cherrie is currently helping 38 cats who are victims of a hoarding situation. Our grant will help to neuter, vaccinate and microchip many of these cats before they are found loving homes.
Cherrie said this: "You have been an absolute lifeline, Amanda; you have helped Arty's Angels save the lives of over 350 farm animals and have helped me pay for spay and neuter for 38 cats rescued from a hoarding situation. I hear so many people say "I don't do anything because what can one person do". Well, £100,000 raised to help animals in desperate need is what one person [and her team of Angels] can do. I send love to you from the cows, sheep and cats you have helped me save."
